Too Hot to Cook

Peanut NoodlesWhen the weather gets hot, we try to get dinner on the table without heating up the kitchen too much. That can mean tuna tapenade or shrimp salad sandwiches, but more often it means main-dish salads. We poach a couple of chicken breasts and dine on cold spicy peanut noodles (pictured) or Vietnamese chicken salad, or go meatless and make bulgur wheat and roasted vegetable salad. If you're looking for a way to keep cool during dinner, give them a try.
