The Other Half: Steak

By July 23, 2013

SteakWhen you're cooking for two, preparing a nice thick steak can be problematic. For most cooking methods, you want a steak at least two inches thick to end up with an evenly cooked, medium rare result, but that amount of meat is too much for two people (at least, it's too much for us). So I've come up with several ways to use the other half of a cooked steak -- recipes that are easy, delicious and different. With dishes like elegant stroganoff, exotic beef and broccoli, or updated French dip sandwiches, you won't believe you're eating leftovers.
