Hot Buttered Cider and Rum is one of my favorite winter drinks. A cross between mulled cider and hot buttered rum, there's nothing better than sitting in front of a fire sipping a mug as the snow billows down. Warning, these are not recommended for people living in snow-prone areas because they're habit forming.

Total Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
- 4 oz. apple cider
- 2 oz. dark rum
- 1 tsp. butter
- 1 stick cinnamon
- 2 cloves
Preparation:
1. Pour cider into a large mug and add cloves, cinnamon stick, and butter.
2. Heat cider in the microwave on high for 45 seconds.
3. Add rum to taste.
Note: you can use the cinnamon stick and cloves repeatedly, just add more cider, butter, and rum.
